It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Ann Washington of South Bend, Indiana, who passed away on February 16, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Broadnax and Jessie Broadnax; her aunt Vanilla Dixon; her grandparents, Viola and James of Washington; her sisters, Mary Joe Broadnax and Betty Broadnax; her aunt Geridina; and her children, Heath West, Tabatha West, Kesha Broadnax and Tawanda Hoskins.

She is survived by: her daughter Tameko; her son-in-law John Northern of South Bend; her son Richard; her daughter-in-law Mary West of Mishawaka, Indiana; her nieces, Shakesha, Nicole and Diamond; her sisters, Ora Gordon of Mishawaka and Jessica Broadnax of South Bend; and her aunt Joanne Newhouse of South Bend.
