We are sad to announce that on September 23, 2024, at the age of 88, Catherine Mahalick of South Bend, Indiana, born in Joliet, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John G. Smego and Anna Smego (Dubasz); and her husband George. She is survived by: her children, Scott Mahalick of Seattle, WA and Sally O'Connor of South Bend, IN.; her grandchildren, Caitlyn O'Connor, Tara Mistretta (Nick) and Kelly O'Connor; her great grandchild Gianna Mistretta; and her siblings, Dorothy Reiter, Bernadine Barrett, Rosemary Bannon, George, Bernard, John, Raymond, Joseph, Richard Smego and Terese Schofield.
