He was predeceased by: his parents, George Ted Imler and Olga Marie Imler (Schreiner); and his siblings, Julie Ann Wagner (Imler) and George Ted Imler Jr.. He is survived by: his son Jason Imler; his daughter-in-law Brittany Imler (Boyle) of South Bend, Indiana; his daughter Jessica Sisson (Imler); his son-in-law Justin Sisson of Greenfield, Wisconsin; his grandchildren, Evan and Shawn Vonhofmann of Greenfield, Wisconsin.; and his wife Cynthia Leeser-Imler.
