The family announces the passing of Christine Lea Edgil of South Bend, Indiana on October 10, 2026. Christine, born on May 5, 1951, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Christine will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Christine by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Christine is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Christine’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Chodzinski and Mary Chodzinski (Tucker); and her stepson Scott. She is survived by: her husband Clent Edgil; her sons, Jeffrey Schroeder (Heather), Daniel Schroeder (Nikki) and William Schroeder; and her stepchildren, Shawn Marrell (Richy), Dawn Marrell and Kelly Holmes (JoeJoe). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens (10776 McKinley Hwy, Osceola, IN 46561).
