He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Magnuson and Katherine Magnuson (Dorn); and his siblings, Gladys Bigelow (Eugene), Ronald Miller and Douglas Magnuson.
He is survived by: his sister Beverly Buckley (Victor). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
