He is survived by: his daughter Carla McFadden-Smallwood (DeCarlos Sr.); his grandson DeCarlos Smallwood Jr.; his grandparent D'Mara Smallwood; his great grandchild Dylan Smallwood; his siblings, Olivia Norman, Diane Williams, Carol N. Hilton, Albert Norman, Eugene Lawson and Gary McFadden; his mother-in-law Lily Mae Wells; and his niece Stephanie Grundy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
