He is survived by: his parents, John VanMele and Janice VanMele (Cooper); his siblings, Andrea Howard (Glenn) of Elkhart and Jeffrey VanMele of Granger; his siblings' children, Mackenzie Miller and Jase Braden of Edwardsburg Michigan; and his girlfriend Debbie Dubois.
