He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Phillips and Eloise Phillips (Hicks). He is survived by: his wife Lisa Phillips; his sister Jan Smoak (Scott); his niece Kate; and his brother Michael Phillips of Columbia, SC. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews and cousins.
