With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Darlene Bennett of South Bend, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Derwood Lennox Jr. (Bud) and Dorene Wogatzke (White); her husband Wesley Bennett; her son Wesley Derwood Bennett Jr. (Adam Bennett); her sister Marlene Fisher; and her grandchildren, Kayla Hans and Trey Bennett.
She is survived by: her sibling Branch (River Park); her children, Jessica Ryan (Bennett) and Jeffrey Fisher; her sisters, Cheryl Strausborger (Randy) and Deborah Majewski (George); her brother-in-law Garry Fisher; and her nephew Joel Fisher. She is also survived by 13 loving great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Palmer Funeral Home - Bubb Chapel (3910 N Main St, Mishawaka, IN 46545). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the American Legion (25751 US 12, Edwardsburg, MI 49112).
