He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. Batz and Majella June Batz (Steele). He is survived by: his daughter Christina L. Batz of South Bend; and his grandchildren, Charles E. Steinhofer (Cheryl) of South Bend, Damon S. Batz (Melinda) of Elkhart, Eben I. Batz of South Bend, James DeWitt, Joseph Mazurkiewicz, Alexis Perez, Hope Mazurkiewicz, Luis Ramirez, Spencer Steinhofer, Mariyah Steinhofer and Charliesa Steinhofer. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
