He is survived by: his children, Laura May (Ron) of Pottsboro, TX, Douglas Emerson (Rene) of South Bend and Phillip Emerson (Amber) of South Bend; his brother Thomas L. Emerson (Jan) of Nashville, TN; and his friend Larry Omundsen. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.
