David Frank Gerschoffer Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Frank Gerschoffer of South Bend, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 11, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandfather Joe Gerschoffer; his stepfather Les Kruger; his brothers, Mark and Neil Gerschoffer; and his niece Ashley Gerschoffer.
He is survived by: his mother Vivian Kruger; his brothers, Kerry and Paul Gerschoffer; his nephews, Daniel Carter (Amy) and Westley Carter (Aimee); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Anthony Davis, Devin Bell, Jacob Carter, Joseph Carter (Robin), Jimmy Fischer, Charles Carter, Wyatt Carter, Brooke Higgins (Rusty), Bailey Zalas (Zach), Lexia Carter, Meghan Carter and Chloe Carter; and also, Gussy, Nick, David, Viv and Kerry.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bowlers Country Club (55839 Pine Rd, South Bend, IN 46619).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests raising a glass in his honor—just two beers, of course.
