David Lowell Hay Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of David Lowell Hay of South Bend, Indiana. David, born on October 14, 1955, passed away on September 26, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Gene R. Hay and Romona I. Hay. He is survived by: his children, Dr. Elizabeth A. Pfeiffer, Edward A. Hay, Eliot A. Hay and Colin J. Hay; and his grandchildren, Lillian G. Hay, James D. Hay, Penelope J. Hay, Luke R. D. Pfeiffer and Ruth S. C. Pfeiffer.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Presbyterian Church of LaPorte (307 Kingsbury Ave, La Porte, IN 46350). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Susan Hay-Hemminger Scholarship Foundation, the Presbyterian Church of La Porte, and the Michiana Humane Society.
