It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David M. Kowalewski of South Bend, Indiana, who passed away on November 26, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Kowalewski and Dorothy Kowalewski (Zielinski); his wife Carol J. Kowalewski (Wesley); his son Todd Kowalewski; and his stepson Leon Cuthbert.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Kowalewski (Lori), Melissa Kush (Bob), Maria Montgomery (John), Tracy Cuthbert (Todd) and Valery Bagarus (Cory); his grandchildren, Gavin, Rebeca, Andrew Kowalewski, Christopher, Zac (Katie), Molly Kush, Olivia, Victoria Montgomery, Emily, Ethan (Tasha), Maggie Mokwa, James, Julius, Cora Bagarus and Ashley Denaway (Terry); and his great grandchildren, Presleigh Mokwa, Payton Bernal, Isabella, Anna, Noah, Jay and T. T. Denaway.
