Diana L. Barbara Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 13, 2025, at the age of 76, Diana L. Barbara of South Bend, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Diana is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Diana's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gene Leroy Giles and Audrey Arlene Bailey (Emerick); and her sister Sherry Thornton (Jeff) of Shipshewana. She is survived by: her siblings, Shannon Mishler of Mishawaka, Brenda Lairson (Tom) of Osceola, Dennis Giles (Karen) of Mishawaka, David Haines (Connie) of South Bend and Gene Giles (Maggie) of South Bend. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Diana's love for cats may be donated to Humane Society of St. Joseph County, 2506 Grape Road, Mishawaka, IN 46545.
