It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dick L. Nelson (South Bend, Indiana), who passed away on December 8, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Nelson and Bayril Nelson (Hare); and his children, Cathleen and Michael. He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Nelson (Dunn); his children, Susan Jones (Jim), Mary Ryan (Dan), Theresa Gruber (Jay), Katie Kuehner (Aaron) and Tim Nelson (Katie); and his brother Tom Nelson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Dick's honor may be given to the donor's choice.
