He is survived by: his parents, Henry Blevins Briggs and Melissa Ann Smith; his stepmother Leciesha Briggs; his grandparent Arton Briggs; his son Xavier Newsome; and his brothers, Donovan Hubbard, Rashad Briggs and Josiah Briggs.
