He is survived by: his wife Sandra D. Zerbe; his children, Holly S. Herr, Heidi L. Herr, Hans C. and Kara Herr; and his grandchildren, Kurtis, Evan, Elizabeth Herr-Knispel, Luisa Jaquez-Herr and Brendan Herr. He is also survived by his family, friends.
