He was predeceased by: his parents, Arvil Shehorn and Vula Shehorn (Warren); his wife Dolores Sundberg; his daughter LaDonna; and his siblings, Glenda Rawls and Guy Shehorn.

He is survived by: his grandson Michael C. Hancz of Lakeville, Indiana; his great grandchild Ashley; and his brothers, Gary Shehorn (Karen) of Orchardville and Ray Shehorn (Goldy) of Orchardville.
