He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred O. Tarnow and Bernice Tarnow (Pagel); his wife Marie A. Green; his sister Dorothy Million; his daughter Lori Plank; and his granddaughter Lyn Kizer.
He is survived by: his children, Cheryl A. Poor (Floyd), Karen L. Tarnow of South Bend and Dale R. Tarnow (Tammy) of Evansville; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Ward (Scot), Nichole Carpenter (Matt), Jason Barrett (Sarah), Marci Gentry, Anthony Hardiman (Kim), Angela Harris (Andy) and Dean Kizer (Regina). He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
