He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Haefner and Helene Haefner of South Bend, IN.; and his sister Jean Kalkbrenner. He is survived by: his daughter Lori Kersey (John) of South Bend; and his grandchildren, Kenneth R. Haefner of South Bend, Julianne Taylor and Jacob Kersey (Taylor).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Center for Hospice at 1419 N. Michigan St., Plymouth, IN 46563, as they were able to provide Donn and his family with the comfort of passing peacefully in the place he wanted to be the most.
