She was predeceased by: her parents, John Nielsen and Esther Nielsen (Morris); and her brother John Nielsen (Linda).

Memorial gifts may be made to The Worship Place in Georgetown Texas, the Lostant Methodist Church in Lostant Illinois, or a favorite animal shelter.
