With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doreen K Mesecar in South Bend, Indiana, who passed away on August 19, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Sarkisian and Dora Sarkisian (Walters); her husband Joel A. Mesecar; and her sister Marna Stebbins. She is survived by: her sons, Andy Mesecar (Gail) of West Lafayette, IN and Chris Mesecar (Lisa) of Raleigh, NC; her sisters, Ann Roeder of Mishawaka and Lori Kauffman (Bill) of South Bend; and her grandchildren, Monica, Lauren, Joel and Benjamin.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her honor may be made to the Purdue University Institute for Cancer Research, where her son Andrew Mesecar serves as Director.
