She was predeceased by: her father Eddie Lee Allen (George) of Chicago, IL; her husband David Lee Mitchell, Sr. of Mitchell's Country Care; her brother Eddie Lee Allen, Jr.; and her stepfather Johnnie T. Ross. She is survived by: her daughter Lauren Kelsey Mitchell (Frank Mwaisaka) of Osceola, IN; her grandchildren, Isaiah F. Mwaisaka and Imani F. Mwaisaka; her son David Lee "D. J." Mitchell, Jr. of South Bend, IN; her sisters, Anita Bonney of Southfield, MI and Angela Ross of Chicago, IL; and her stepsister Flossie Rambert (Marty) of Arkansas.
