We announce the death of Dorothy LeeVan (South Bend, Indiana), who passed away on October 2, 2026, at the age of 94. She was predeceased by: her daughter Lori; her parents, Casmier Pytlak and Jennie Pytlak (Tobolski); and her siblings, Jim Pytlak and Evelyn Manzer.
She is survived by: her husband Ray; her children, David LeeVan (Yakira) of Milwaukee, WI, Sue Brandt (Ron) of South Bend, IN and Cheryl LeeVan of Chicago, IL; her grandchildren, Sarah LeeVan (Asaf Maman), Elyse LeeVan (Isaac Schwartz), Stacey Salwiesz (Michael), Tom Brandt (MaKenna) and Jennifer LeeVan (Jeremy Davidson); and her great grandchildren, Ivri, Daniel, Gideon, Benjamin Maman, Aya, Zoe Schwartz, Thea, Gianna Salwiesz, Dawson Brandt, Emmett and Gabriel Davidson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (56405 Mayflower Rd. 46619). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Family Church (56405 Mayflower Rd. 46619). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:50 AM at the St. Joseph Cemetery (24980 IN-2, South Bend, IN 46619).
