We are sad to announce that on June 14, 2023, at the age of 93, Dorothy Josephine Mathia of South Bend, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her sisters, Evelyn Lesczynski (Frank) and Dolores Pinkowski (Ed); and her daughter Beth Ann Taylor. She is survived by: her husband Roger Mathia, Sr.; her sister Adeline DeSchepper (late Robert); her children, Roger "Beaver" Mathia, Jr. (Janet) of South Bend, Greg Mathia (Mindy) of Wyatt and Debra Stevens (Kenny) of Wakarusa; her son-in-law Doug Taylor of Elkhart; and her grandchildren, D. J. Houghton, Amber Mathia, Jeremy Houghton, Ben Mathia, Cory Taylor (Jess), Hannah Sebasty (Dustan), Clarissa Taylor (Mike Franklin), Stephanie Heckman (Dustin), Josh Taylor (Becca), Autumn Taylor and Tyler Mathia. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
