It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Drake Matovich of South Bend, Indiana, born in Michigan City, Indiana, who passed away on May 18, 2023, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Eugene Matovich and Kathryn Matovich (Place); his grandmother Kathryn; his great-aunt Veronica Draves (Ike); his grandchildren, Olivia, Isaak, Eden, Ezra, Drake, Krieg and Acea; his wife Karen of South Bend, Indiana.; his brothers, Eric Matovich (Julie) of Westerville and Mike Cluggish (Pat) of Lebanon; and his children, Veronica Matovich of Durham, Sarah Gage (Zach) of Fort Liberty, Nick Matovich (Leah) of Houston Texas and Dustin Matovich (Rachael) of Ojo Caliente. He was also cherished by his seven grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
