He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Danik and Betty Danik (Schaffer). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Danik (Brady); his children, Larry Danik of South Bend, Matt Danik of Boston, MA, Kevin Danik (Jessica) of South Bend and Susan Torres (Luis) of Kailua, Hawaii.; his grandson Mateo Torres; his brother Daniel (Norina); his children, Sarah and Zach of Virginia; and also Bernadette Danik of Maryland. He is also survived by his family, friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Drew's honor may be given to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
