Though Du may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Du touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his mother Lori Bowers. He is survived by: his wife Thao Nguyen; his children, Selena Nguyen and Joseph Nguyen (Maureen Leda); his grandchildren, Aurora Easton and Matthew Stewart-Hegedus (Jillian); and his daughter Phương. He is also survived by extended family in Vietnam, including a daughter.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Saint Joseph Funeral Home (824 S Mayflower Dr, South Bend, IN 46619).
