He was predeceased by: his father Ray A. Pickens; his grandson Thomas Pickens; his great grandchild Joanna Criddle; and his siblings, Joyce Marie Pickens, Harold R. and Donald L. Pickens.
He is survived by: his wife Gennie; his children, Tina Klindinst of South Bend and David Pickens (Heather) of Walkerton; his stepsons, Nicholas Cukrowicz (Amber) of Mishawaka and Thomas Tidey (Debbie) of South Bend; and his siblings, Wilma Emerick (Susie) and Gary R. Pickens of South Bend.
