He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Voreis and Margaret Voreis (Halter); his brother Thomas Sveda; and his half-brother Edward Marion. He is survived by: his wife Jeanne M. Kaniewski; his son Adam Voreis (Alison) of South Bend; his grandchildren, Mila Voreis and Jonas Voreis; his siblings, Jeanne Kovacs of South Carolina, Joann Evans (Charlie) of Florida, Jerry Feldy of Texas and Martin Feldy (Jody) of Missouri; and his sister-in-law Marilyn Sveda (Karen) of Louisiana.
