She is survived by: her children, Rashu A. Smith (Courtney Taylor) of South Bend, Vernon Smith (Valerie) of Chicago and Angela L. Smith of Goshen; her grandchildren, Jovon, Nickolas Pippin, Krystal, Christopher Malone, Aramis, Vernisha, Vernon Smith, Jr. and Tyisha Bryant; and her daughter Liz. She is also survived by loving great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, extended family and good friends.
