He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Dean and Helen Marion Chaney (Cornell); his siblings, Georgia Kaufman and John Chaney; his wife Joanne Marie Chaney (Bell); and his daughters, Tamera McRoberts (Michael), Sheila Stanage (Robert) and Angela Chaney (John Ross).
He is survived by: his siblings, Dona Kite, Hazel Carter, William and Marvin Chaney; his children, Kristen, Patricia, Elizabeth and Daniel; his grandsons, Daniel Schieber (Sabrina), Joshua Schieber, Michael Schieber (Magdalena), Alexander Ramsbey (Michelle) and Christopher Ramsbey (Katelynn); and his great grandchildren, Including, Tavis, Kieran, Riorden and Breccan Schieber. He is also survived by five step-grandchildren and twelve step-great Grandchildren.
Contributions in memory of Elmer can be made to the family to help with medical and funeral expenses or they can be made to Center for Hospice Care.
