With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ernie Perkins Jr. of South Bend, Indiana, who passed away on May 11, 2022 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Perkins, Sr. and Donna Perkins (Burbank); his sons, Robert Jester, Jr., Todd Higbee and Joshua Winger; and his brother-in-law Clyde Lohse.

He is survived by: his wife Dianne Perkins (Higbee); his children, Sherri Jester, Penny Stratton (Eric), Jeremiah and Xavier Perkins; and his siblings, Jo Weldy (Vic), Barb Lohse and Rick Perkins (Alice). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
