He was predeceased by: his parents, Doss Rorie and Evoline Rorie (Martin); his wife Betty Inetha McCaskill; his children, Rita Diane Rorie and Danny Ray Rorie; his granddaughter Karrissa Joy Rorie; and his siblings, Tinnie, Hassell, Onis, Dalton, Lyle D. Rorie, Euda May Rorie and Beulah Adams.
He is survived by: his sons, Bill Rorie (Linda) of Sebring, FL, Jack Rorie (Karen) of Osceola, IN, Rob Rorie (Sherri) of Clearwater, FL and John Brosius (Nancy) of West Virginia. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM at the Omega Event Center (2130 Middlebury St, Elkhart, IN 46516). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
