He was predeceased by: his parents, James Griffin and Ella Griffin (Lynk); his brother Kenneth Griffin; and his son Brian Battle. He is survived by: his children, Tameka Griffin of Houston, TX, Danielle Griffin of Indianapolis, IN, Dustin Griffin of South Bend, IN, Whitney Griffin of Lafayette, IN and Marcus Battle of Antioch, TN; and his grandchildren, Terral Griffin (Destiny) of Baytown, TX, John Griffin-McCullum of Dallas, TX, DaQuian Griffin, VaSaun Everett Donaldson of Houston, TX, Christian, Carter Dillon of Indianapolis, IN, Messiah Griffin of Smyrna, TN, Madison Griffin and Madden Griffin. He is also survived by six great grandchildren; two nephews; and numerous other relatives and friends.
