She was predeceased by: her son Keontaye Watson; and her parents, John Shavers and Lillie Turley. She is survived by: her daughter Kalesha Bell; her sister Angela Williams; and her close friends, Sharon Houghton and Kevin Jackson. She is also survived by many other brothers, sisters, cousins.
