He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Boleslaw Tyl and Elizabeth Tyl (Beczkiewicz); his wife Lorraine G. Hechlinski; his son-in-law Robert Bartak; his children, Therese Bartak of Omaha, Denise, Norbert, John Tyl of South Bend, Martin Tyl of Niles, Philip Tyl of Columbus and Mark Tyl (Jill) of St. Petersburg, Florida; his grandchildren, Jennifer Vogelsberg (Tim), Angela Driggs (Nick), Robert Bartak, Jr. (Karen), Elizabeth Fossenbarger (Mike) and Shawn (Jennifer); his grandmothers, Delaney Tyl, Lyndsey Tyl, Atticus Tyl and Willow Tyl; and his great grandchildren, Kellen, Carter, Dominic, Owen, Hayley, Elliott, Olivia, Boe, Drew and Chloe.

Memorial Contributions may be directed to Wounded Warrior Project or Caring Circle Hospice.
