With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Fred Smith of South Bend, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 11, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emory Smith and Mattie Smith. He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Smith (Sue); his children, Stephen Smith, David Smith (Kip), Rachel Smith, Jonathan Smith and Elizabeth Chapman (Caleb); his grandchildren, Sophie Nguyen, Precious Bounphisai, Alicia Chapman, Shelby Smith, Destiny Piemmalay, Olivia Smith, Mikaila Bounphisai and Caleb Chapman Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Harper Trevino, Jasper Jones and Kyro Gamez.
