He was predeceased by: his father John H. Sr. Hayden; and his sister Cheryl Huff. He is survived by: his siblings, Barbara Carhart of Mishawaka and John "Jack" H. Hayden Jr. of South Bend; his siblings' children, Xandi Morgan (Tyler) of Mishawaka, Heather Herkamp (Michael) of Columbus, IN, Michael Huff of Kalamazoo, MI. and Matthew Huff of New Zeeland; and his great-niece Charlotte Herkamp.
