It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald J Bartkowiak of South Bend, Indiana, who passed away on October 21, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Casimer Bartkowiak and Sophia Bartkowiak (Brzezniak); his wife Margaret Bartkowiak (Wroblewski); and his siblings, Elaine Stodolny (Roman), Norman Bartkowiak and Joseph P. Barnes.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kathy and Karen Bartkowiak; and his sibling's children, Susan Pusztai (Rich), Anne Maron (Mark), Christine Barnes-Carlson (Paul), Kenneth Bartkowiak (Barb), Bryan Chojnacki (Lorraine) and Larry Chojnacki (Karen).
