She is survived by: her son Carlton Earl Thomas Jr.; her grandchildren, Rashida Wilder, Elijah Thomas of Austin, TX and Tyshawn Thomas; her goddaughter Cherylria Stalling; her close friend Connie Hesiban; her siblings, Katherine Hughley, Tommie Simms and John L. Simms; and her nephew Churckery Hughley.
