He was predeceased by: his parents, Lowell Balsley and Irene Balsley (Sigety); and his siblings, Betty Buti and Frank "Gus" Lako Jr.. He is survived by: his sibling's children, Catherine Eastman, Thomas Buti and Joseph Buti; and his brother-in-law Tom Buti. He is also survived by 5 great-nieces and nephews, 4 great-great-nieces and nephews.
