With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gregory A. Bloch Jr. of South Bend, Indiana, who passed away on October 5, 2025 at the age of 33. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sister Kristina; and his grandmother Teresa Ortiz. He is survived by: his parents, Gregory, Sr. Bloch and Maria Bloch (Ortiz); his children, Gregory III and Maricella (Sonia Betancourt); his siblings, Tatyana and Maria E. Bloch; his aunts and uncles, Rosario Cervantes, Angelica Arriaga, Amelia Tamez, Carla Suggs, Martin, Jesse, Juan, Nazario and Michael Ortiz; his cousins, Endesha Henderson, Jesse Bloch Jr., Johntu Reed Sr. and Jarvis Bloch; and his grandfather Nazairo Ortiz.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Cruz Family Funeral Home (1109 Lincolnway W, Osceola, IN 46561). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the family to begin a college fund for Gregory III and Maricella.
