He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Kuzmits and Erma Kuzmits (Papp); and his grandson Greyson Kuzmits. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Yahle; his children, Carrie Fuzey of South Bend and Mark Kuzmits of Benton Harbor, Michigan; his granddaughters, Gina Fuzey and Lyla Fuzey; and his siblings, Denise Crowel (Kurt), Annette Urbanik and Joseph Kuzmits.

Contributions in Gregory's memory may be made to Faith Mission in Elkhart, Hope Ministries of South Bend, or the Food Bank of Northern Indiana.
