With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Guadalupe Garcia of South Bend, Indiana, born in Elsa, Texas, who passed away on March 8, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Victor Vega,; and her daughter Lydia Cantu. She is survived by: her husband Armando Garcia of South Bend; her son Raymond P. Garcia Sr. of Goshen, IN; her stepdaughter Nicole Elena Groves (Brandon) of Plymouth, IN; her grandchildren, Benjamin Cantu, Raymond P. Garcia, Jr., Marcos Armando Garcia, Justin Schock and Shaween Marie; her brothers, Paul Vega (Dolores) of Fort Worth, TX, Alberto Vega (Mary Lou) of South Bend, IN, Flavio Vega (Rita) of Schererville, IN and Victor Vega of Mexico City; and her half-brother Victor Vega. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
There is a Celebration of Guadalupe's Life at 6:00 P.M., Saturday, March 18, 2023, at Hanley and Sons Funeral Home "Southwest Chapel", 23421 State Road 23, South Bend, IN 46614, where friends may call from 3:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M.
