With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Durham of South Bend, Indiana, born in San Augustine, Texas, who passed away on July 20, 2023 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Helen Durham to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace C. Defee and Lillian B. Defee (Eppes); and her siblings, Doris Probst, Lucretia Pedersen and Horace Defee.
She is survived by: her son Larry Strader (Christian Slaton) of Spring, TX; her stepchildren, Carla Barkman (Wyatt) of Walkerton and Jeff Durham (Jody) of Chandler, AZ; her grandchildren, Jameson, Seth, Samantha and Heather; and her brother Roy Defee (Carol) of Seabrook, TX.. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
