She was predeceased by: her parents, Morgan Cornelius Brown and Ida Moore Brown Elias (Moore); her stepfather John Quincy Elias; her brother Morgan C Brown II; her son Eugene Charles Knight; and her sister Tybee Ruth Brown Thomas.
She is survived by: her son-in-law Hollis E. Hughes, Jr. of South Bend, IN; and her sibling's children, Ida Carol Thomas Futch of San Diego, CA, Dr. Andrea Brown of Yeadon, PA, Henry Brockton Thomas and Morgan C Brown, III. She is also survived by grandnieces and grandnephews, great-grandnieces and nephews along with and friends.
