With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Irene T. Japa (South Bend, Indiana), who passed away on March 20, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Halasz and Mary Halasz (Chiszar); her son John Japa; and her siblings, Julius Halasz, Maryanne Priester and Joan Zahl.
She is survived by: her husband John Japa; her children, Jennifer Japa, Janice Japa and James Japa; and her grandchildren, Mary Japa and James Japa.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Juvenile Diabetes Foundation in lieu of flowers.
