Jacob R. Chesnic Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jacob R. Chesnic of South Bend, Indiana, who passed away on November 1, 2023, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Chesnic and Matilda Chesnic (Zupon); his wife Elfie Kapel; his sisters, Virginia Bradock and Louise Chesnic; and his grandson Jacob R. Chesnic.
He is survived by: his children, Jan Baker of Rocky River, OH, Richard "Rich" Chesnic (Cheryl) of Indianapolis, IN, William Chesnic of Spring Lake, MI and James Chesnic (Renae) of Mentor, OH; his close friend Gail Nolan of South Bend, IN; and his brother David Chesnic. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren.
